A company has launched the first of a new generation of coated roll of thermal paper, self-adhesive labels, tactics thermprint advance Ultra-Fast.
The recent development in thermal imaging technology provides the labelling medium for bar code price-weigh and box-end labelling requirements for different machines.
The top coating provide excellent image protection of the thermal coating that need less heat to sharpen bar code and dense black text, said the manufacture. The heat reduction make sure the longer print head life- without any loss of printability.
Thermprint Advantage Ultra-Fast promise as especialy speedy thermal response that suit the latest and fastes thermal printers. However, this new label material also runs well on older thermal machines and will prolong print head viability when the setting is lowered. Print speeds up to 12 inches (300mm) per second can be accommodated.
Another advantage of theThermprint Ultra-Fast lies in its ability to avoid the high-pressure energy required to print thermal images clearly through printing inks and glossy varnish in many supermarket price-weight application. The use of high print head energy cause premature print head failure with replacement cost, depending on the engine, of up to € 1,000. The new Thermprint label will acticate at lower energy and can overcome the insulating effect of ink and varnish more easily than existing products.
